Winter Festival 2015 to start with a bang!

Winter Festival 2015 opens on Friday the 19th at 7pm with a loud bang of a spectacular fireworks display in Queenstown.
The multi award-winning American Express Queenstown Winter Festival will take centre stage in Queenstown, New Zealand, from 19th to 28th June 2015.
The iconic Queenstown event, now into its 41st year, officially kicks off winter in the stunning four-season resort with a 10-day action-packed programme of new events, established favourites and plenty of entertainment and celebration.
New Zealand’s 10 Coolest Days kicks off with the American Express Opening Party and Fireworks, lighting up Lake Wakatipu and revealing big grins under bobbled hats.
Whether you’re five or 85, the American Express Queenstown Winter Festival has something for everyone!
Also a severe weather storm approaches on the eve of Winter Festival bringing heavy amounts of snow - Yippee!
