Depart Queenstown we head South West over Mavora Lakes before making a quick stop to top up with fuel for a full day flying in Fiordland National Park. Here we encounter the wonders of Te Anau and Manapouri before we enter Dusky & Breaksea Sounds for a landing in the heart of of this massive wilderness area where rugged peaks and steep forested valleys give way to twisting hidden inlets.

We continue on to Doubtful Sound, view the Browne falls as well as the famous Campbell’s Kingdom before meeting the wild coast for a beach landing. Smell the fresh salt air beside the Tasman Sea and make sure you have your camera ready for a glimpse of the local wildlife.

Then depart North through George Sound, view Sutherland Falls New Zealand’s highest waterfall at 589m at the outlet of Lake Quill. Stretch your legs at the 8th Natural Wonder of the World, Milford Sound with endless photo opportunities everywhere you look. We then say goodbye to Fiordland and head East to our picnic lunch location, relax and enjoy the views over Lake Wakatipu, Glenorchy and Mt Aspiring National Park while your pilot prepares lunch with local produce, wine, craft beer and a selection of juices.

Enjoy a long lunch before returning to Queenstown.
