Leaving Queenstown behind we fly west towards the head of Lake Wakatipu. At the top of the lake we fly past ice shelves, waterfalls and enjoy a mountain landing on snow/ice .

We then continue on through Fiordland National Park to Milford Sound, the 8th Natural Wonder of the World.

Here you will meet your guide who will greet you with a warm smile, you will have a brief on your walk and the environment you are about to encounter. From here your guide will escort you to the start of the Milford Track to Sand-fly point after a short 5min boat ride.

The walk meanders alongside the cascading Arthur River through lush rainforest to Giant’s gate. After viewing this incredible waterfall return to Milford Sound airport to meet your Helicopter.

On our way back to Queenstown we fly past ice shelves and enjoy an alpine landing for photo opportunities.
