One of the most epic tours to Franz Josef and Fox glaciers, we head over Wanaka and Hawea into the heart of the Southern Alps. Your friendly pilot has turned the heater on for you and are now soaring next to Mt cook, New Zealand’s highest mountain, over and around numerous crevasses, down the famous Franz Josef glacier before landing at the township. Southbound to the township of Fox , then up and over the Fox Glacier across the main divide of the Southern Alps, past Mt Sefton, take in the vast Mackenzie Basin and numerous hydro and Alpine lakes, we conduct our last alpine landing with 360 degree views before returning back to Queenstown.
