As we depart Queenstown we fly North East over the historic Cardrona valley, view Lake Wanaka and Hawea as well  the beautiful and photographic Lindis Pass. Fly overhead the mighty Ahuriri River and Lake Ohau before viewing Mt Cook, New Zealand’s highest mountain as we fly over Glentanner towards the heart of the Southern Alps, where we stop for an ice/snow landing and incredible photo opportunities. View Glaciers galore with the Hooker, Tasman, Mueller and the Murchison glaciers all on show. Making our way back towards Queenstown we take the opportunity for a mountain landing overlooking rolling valleys and high country farmland with jagged peaks on the horizon before landing back at Queenstown Airport.
